The Yellow Breeches Creek is a favorite among flyfishermen across the state.  This limestone spring fed creek flowing through scenic Cumberland county has 56 miles of fishable water. " The Breeches " has a great population of wild trout with its characteristics much like a freestone stream of the west.  with great hatches and flows, this stream can be productive throughout the entire year. With some staple hatches of caddis, midges and blue winged olives, the stream is also home to sporadic hatches of larger mayflies. During the summer months the terrestrial fishing is stellar.
